During the 2003 season, Tim notched 47 Top 10 finishes from 29 meetings - including 3 race wins, and accumulated 191 points. During the season, he also graduated from the White (Novice) to Yellow Grade.

2004 proved even more successful, with 57 Top 10 finishes from 27 meetings - including 9 race wins, 2 of which were Finals + the Northampton Whites & Yellows Final and a Grand National in Birmingham. Tim finished the season in 40th position in the National Points Table, with 316 points and graduated from Yellow Grade to Red (Star) Grade.

2005 saw Tim take delivery of a brand new RCE car and, despite some teething problems, he achieved 52 Top 10 finishes from 29 meetings and 91 races, including 4 Heat wins; the Birmingham 'Whites & Yellows' Championship; 1 Consolation Race win and, of course, his first major Final win in the 2005 F2 World Masters at Northampton.
